Our founder, Pip Witheridge, started his career in the British Army, serving in both reconnaissance and intelligence roles. Following this, he moved into the commercial sector, working in advertising sales for Defacto during the early days of online advertising. He then spent five years at Deloitte Consulting, where he advised clients primarily in the finance and telecommunications sectors on business transformation, strategy, and operations.
Pivoting to entrepreneurship, Pip left Deloitte to start Grove Group, which he grew into a leading global Cyber Security technology business that now serves over 30,000 customers worldwide. He is also a deeply experienced board advisor at Transformacy, a corporate sustainability consultancy, where he specialises in corporate governance and business resilience.
This diverse career spanning military intelligence, strategic consulting, and scaling a global technology company highlighted a core principle: at the centre of all successful organisations are great people informed by the right data. It is this connection—between strategic thinking and robust data—that unlocks real-world growth.
Pip founded CloudMundi to put this principle into practice, with the clear aim of helping organisations across all sectors scale faster and more effectively.
